An Introduction to Portable Scales

Wednesday, November 28, 2007

A portable scale includes a fulcrum, a balance beam pivotally augmented on the fulcrum, the balance beam behind a load pan on one end and counting an elongated portion having a size strip extending along the elongated portion of the balance beam. The portable scale comprises a dynamic weight changeable along the elongated portion of the balance beam. The dynamic weight comprises a display unit on the stretched out portion of the balance beam for spotting the place of the dynamic weight along the measurement strip, for electrically converting the place to a weight measurement, and for showing the weight measurement. The portable scale might as well include luminescent material.

Why to use Bagging Scales?

Tuesday, November 13, 2007

Bagging scales could be as simple as a manual beam scale or as inclusive as an automatic electronic self correcting scale. Most bagging scales are gross scales in the sense that the product is weighed as it is filling the container, but net weigh (pre-weighing the product) is turning more common as bags per minute capacity necessities increase. These scales would differ in accuracy, bags per minute capacity and weight per bag capacity. Most are intended for free flowing products, but could handle semi-free flowing products with the addition of screw, vibratory or belt feeders. When requiring bagging scales or Perry scales just contact perryscales.com for satisfactory result.
