Average Piece Weight Look up Program

This program is used to store and recall Alphanumeric Part Numbers with its Average Piece Weight and a Description. It eliminates the operator having to hand count samples each time they want to count a part.

Once the Part number and Description is in the Database, the operator can always re-sample and store the new Average Piece Weight with the same Part number, in case for some reason it has changed. The Alphanumeric numbers are keyed in the same as Text message keypad.

Using the Keypad type in a Part number, for example 987 and press the “Rec/New” Button and it will show it as the Part number.
Next press the “Entry Button” and the scale display will display, Desc, - Lot, Bin, APW and Exit. If you want to type in a Description for Part number 987, press F-1 and type in the description, for example “Screws “then press “Enter”. The scale display will show “Screws” in the description box. Then press “exit” to go back to the main scale display

The operator is now ready to sample count. Press the “Sample” button and the scale display will prompt the operator to put 10 parts on the scale, when the 10 pieces are on the scale platform, simply press “Accept” and the scale display will now show the Qty – Part number – Description and Average Piece Weight, then press “Store” and the scale display will say “Data Updated” to verify all the information has been stored. Any number of samples can be entered by using the numeric keypad.
A Lot and Bin number can be entered and stored the same way.
Once numerous part numbers are in the system, the operator can recall a stored part number by, entering the part number using the keypad and pressing the “Rec/New” button. The scale display will then show Qty – Part number – Description and APW for the parts he recalled.
Using the “Setup” button the operator can delete Individual Part numbers and its information when necessary

Using “Setup” button you can change the way the scale display to look how you want it to look. Showing the information you want the operator to have.

Add the optional Keyboard module and Computer Keyboard, the operator can type the information, rather than use the scale keypad. Saves time!!!
