Each weigh bar is milled from a solid piece of aircraft-quality alloy or stainless steel. (2) Sensors are mounted on the top and bottom of the weigh bar and then protected by an exclusive 5 – layer process:

Acrylic, Polysulfide, Primer, Polyurethane and a metal shield. All wiring is routed inside the weigh bar’s internal structure. No sensor wiring is exposed to the elements.

The Weigh Bar steel structure acts as a cantilever unsuspended on one end and fixed on the other. When the load is applied to the unsuspended end the (4) sensors send the signal to the indicator

Because the sensors are on the top and bottom of the weigh bar and not on both side (as in most load cells) when a side load is applied there is no apparent strain seen to the gauges.

The Batching Weigh Bars come in Single Ended and Double Ended versions.
